Math Help - prove log inverse

    prove log inverse

    i was told that b^logb(x) = x
    but i dont know how to prove it.
    help please?

    You should know that \log_A B = C \equiv A^C = B by definition.

    Let b^{\log_b x} = C. Then using the above you have \log_b C = \log_b x. Therefore C = x.
