    inverse function

    FInd the inverse function of y=f(t)=2t+6. My answer is y-6/2

    For an inverse function, the variables swap.

    So the inverse would be

    t = 2y+6 which becomes y=\frac{1}{2}(t-6).

    make sure u get the right varible and that 2 divides the y-6, not just the 6.
