bingo!
This is a question that came up in my homework. The teacher made a point of us doing this question so I figure I would put a little more thought into it... IT seems simple enough. When is X a function of Y? Is that basically when you have an inverse function? ....
X is a function of Y when you have the inverse of a function... When, for every Y value, you get only one X value out...
thanks! (btw, sometimes I have to wonder if my math teachers aren't on here? Reading stuff and helping others. I ouldn't say they don't have a life because I love math as much as them and I have a life, but they do devote a good chunk of time to helping others, or so it seems)
