    Exclamation PARENT GRAPHS

    What kind of graphs are there?
    For instance, linear function, parabola, hyperbola......
    The more you tell me the better and if it is possible also show me the pictures of the graphs

    Ok never mind the top part

    what is the graph called that has jump continuity i think:
    it goes like this there are set of small lines and they are not connected

    There are many many types of curve. A very interesting family of curves are the conic sections. These include a line, circle, elipse, parabola and hyperbola. Look at Conic section - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Then there is the logatithm and the sine wave.

    And almost any curve you can imagine can be drawn by choosing suitable coefficients (a,b,c,d...) for:
    y=a*x+b*x^2+c*x^3+d*x^4+...
