Hello everyone:

I am doing some calculus integration problems right now (but this post is not related to calculus), and I would like to verify that I can further simplify the following expressions.

Thank you!

1. For $\displaystyle 4 \ln |\sin x| + C $, can I rewrite it as such: $\displaystyle \ln (\sin x)^4 + C $? I am omitting the absolute value sign because anything to an even power is positive.
