Do you have a drawing? You may wish to start labeling parts with the radius of the circles.

r = Radius of each semi-circle.

x = length of rectangle

Feel free to pick your own labels.

What is the total area based on these labels?

Now what?

Hint: 100 ft = Length of Rectangle + Diameter of Circle = x + 2r - July 30th 2008, 02:21 PMmagentaritaOk...
Ok....I will go back to the question using your tips to see where that will lead me.
