Well just do a few years and try to see the pattern.

year 0 (2002): N(0)=350
year 1: N(1)=N(0)*(1-.062) = 350*0.938
year 2: N(2)=N(1)*0.938 = $350\cdot 0.938^2$
year 3: N(3)=N(2)*0.938 = $350\cdot 0.938^3$
