Thread: Components of Algebra rooted in pre-cal?

As the topic says, what are the main areas of Algebra I should particularly focus on to prepare me for calculus?

Right now im teaching myself college algebra again, in hopes of moving on to pre-cal soon. To tell the truth im getting a little tired of studying algebra, so I would like to know what areas of algebra I should have down pat before I head over to studying pre-cal.

You should be thorougly aquanited with: complex numbers, factoring, the binomial expansion, solving systems of up to three equations with real answers, quadratic equation,
