check my work- simple math
solve for h.
V= 75cm^3
diameter= 108 cm

V=3.14 r^2 h

This is what I did, but I don't think its right. Can someone please correct my work.
75=3.14 (54^2) h
75/(3.14* 54^2)= h
h= .008 cm

why does this seem wrong? can someone please correct it?
-Thanks!

Is it a cone or a cylinder ?

If it's a cylinder, then your working is correct :)

Assuming you're trying to find the height of a cylinder...

(54^2)pi = cross-sectional area = 2916pi

75/2916pi = h = 0.008cm

Its neither. It is an M&M, but I was told to use this formula for it
I guess it is a sphere..?

If you are using that formula it is a cylinder.

The volume formula you have is the formula for a cylinder, which I guess tentatively speaking an m&m constitutes a cylinder.

so I guess the M&M is a cylinder.
