Identify the rational function whose graph is shown in the figure. My answer is f(x)= 3x-5 divided by x-1 but not sure. thanks for checking my answer.

Your graph isn't very accurate . . . I had to do some guessing.

If the vertical asymptote is $x = -1$,
. . the function has $x + 1$ in the denominator.

Since $y = 3$ is a horizontal asymptote,
. . the function is of the form: . $f(x) \;= \;\frac{3x + b}{x + 1}$
. . where $b$ is the y-intercept (which was not given).
