    Post Graph- see attach

    The figure shows the graph of f(x)= 6x-10 divided by 2x-a. Find the value of a. My answer is 3. Is that right? Thanks for checking.

    f(x) has a vertical asymtote at the zero of 2x-a,
    so the x corresponding to the vertical asymtote is:

    x=a/2.

    From the diagram we see that the vertical asymtote is at x=2, so:

    2=a/2,

    or:

    a=4
