At its closet point (Perihelion), Mercury is 28.6 million miles from the sun. At its furthest point (aphelion), Mercury is 43.4 million miles from the sun. Model Mercury's orbit with an ellipse with the sun located at the origin.
a) Graph the ellipse
b) Find the model in Standard form
c) Find the model in general form
d) Find the center of Mercury's orbit
e) What is the eccentricity's of Mercury's orbit?

Wouldn't your perihelion be the minor axis and the aphelion axis be the major axis of the ellipse.
$\displaystyle \frac{x^{2}}{(200\sqrt{1085})^{2}}+\frac{y^{2}}{(2 00\sqrt{715})^{2}}=1$

Any other help i kinda need this filled out before tommorow morning im sunk :(.
