Hi, we're a group of juniors from LMHS, we are currently researching both chain rule and trig derivatives and are having difficulty finding real world applications. If you could give us any help on this topic it would be greatly appreciated.

Conduct a search on related rates and optimization problems, and you will find real world applications in many fields including physics, engineering, forensic sciences, actuarial sciences, finance, architecture, chemistry, construction, information technology and just about anything you can think about.

Math is everywhere, and Calculus is no different.
