    a little homework help

    what is the f ^-1 inverse of f (x) = x+1/x-1
    How would I work this problem? Thank you !

    So to find the inverse, switch the x's and y's.

    x=\frac{y+1}{y-1}

    xy-x=y+1

    y(x-1)=1+x

    f^{-1}(x)=\frac{x+1}{x-1}
