Polynomial f(x) hope I can post this here
The polynomial f(x) divided x-3 results in a quotient of x^2+3x-5 with a remainder of 2. Find f(3). I came out with -5, but not sure if I'm right. thanks again for looking it over.

Here's how I would do it.

$\frac{f(x)}{x-3}=x^2+3x-5+\frac{2}{x-3}$

Solve for f(x) and input your value. I have to run so I can't confirm your answer yet.

$f(x)=x^3 - 14x + 17$
