Let's assume $\displaystyle f(x) = h(x)$

$\displaystyle h(x) = \sqrt{18-4x}$

$\displaystyle h(6) = \sqrt{18-4(6)} \Rightarrow \sqrt{-24} = 2i\sqrt{6}$

$\displaystyle h(x) = 0$

$\displaystyle \sqrt{18-4x} = 0$

$\displaystyle 18-4x = 0$

$\displaystyle 4x=18$

$\displaystyle x=\frac{9}{2}$
