Thread: [SOLVED] Graphing Project -need urgent help

So, i have a graphing project for algebra that is due tomorrow and ive blown off. And i dont really get domain? This is what it says i have to do, if someone can help me out it would be greatly appricatted.

Part 1: Graph the following design on the attached graph. Please use the given domain to include a table for each equation on the back of this page.

All the "<" have a line under them kinda like this.

I believe there is a typo here. It should probably read y = 2x+8.

means less than or equal to. You can remember which side of it is larger because the small end is next to the smaller number and the big end is next to the bigger number.

The domain usually is the bit that tells you to which values of x the equation applies to. In this case you seem to have restrictions on y as well, this should not be called a domain.

What you need to do is graph each equation for the values specified in the domain column. for example, the third part looks like this:
