The best way to know where an inequality is shaded is trying. For example, try for the point (0,0). If the inequality is true, it's shaded inside, otherwise, it's shaded outside
What does "inside" or "outside" mean for parabolas and hyperbolas? I guess it's sort of obvious, but simply testing a value generally would be quite sufficient and is not confusing.
