1. ## Vectors

Hi, I have 3 questions. If anyone could please answer them I would greatly appreciate it.

question1. Find scalars r and s such that

r [-2,1] + s [3, -4] = [13, -24]

question2. Use vectors to show that WYZX is a parallelogram if X is (-2,5), Y(3,4), W(-3, -1), and Z(4, 10).

question3. If p (-3, 1), q(2, -4) and r(3,2). find x if 2q-x=r.

Can you show that $\displaystyle \overrightarrow {WY} \,\& \,\overrightarrow {XZ}$ are parallel and have the same length?

Yes, I can. Thank you. I didn't realize it was so simple. :/

4. question3. If p (-3, 1), q(2, -4) and r(3,2). find x if 2q-x=r.
2q-x = r solves to x = 2q-r

Now just substitute and simplify. Remember: a(b,c) = (ab,ac) and (a,b) + (c,d) = (a+c, b+d)
