Inequalities and absolute value,

Hello everyone, I have done the following questions and would just like to confirm that my answers are in deed correct. I'm a bit paranoid about them.

1) (y/x - x/y) / (5/y - 5/x) just simplify

2) Solve the inequality in terms of intervals: -1 < 2x - 5 < 7

3) Solve the inequality in terms of intervals: (x -5)(x-8) > 8

4) solve the equation for x: [2x - 1/ x + 1] = 3 Square brackets are actaully absolute value symbols

5) Solve the inequality and the answer has to be in interval notation: 4 <= [x] <= 8 (<= : less than or equal to; [x] is absolute value x)

6) if [x + 3] < 1/2, is the statement [4x + 13] < 3 true or false. (square brackets again absolute value symbols)
