ok so im doing my review for the exam coming up and i stumbled on this question that i never did figure our, can anyone help me with it?

Question:

sub in x=2 and solve to find k

Once you've got k factorise the cubic to get (x-2)(some quadratic)=0 and then solve the quadratic.

well how do u factor the cubic function, do u use quadratic formula? Sry i just completely forget.

You could divide the cubic by x-2.
