a) Let G(x) = ((1/(a^x) - 1) + (1/2)) F(x) where a is positive real number equal to 1 and F(x) is an odd function. Determine G(x) is even, odd or neither.

b) Determine whether M(x) = ((-x/(2^x)-1) - (x/2)) is an even function, odd function or neither.

A function G(x) is even if G(-x) = G(x).
A function G(x) is odd if G(-x) = -G(x).
Otherwise G(x) is neither even or odd.

I suggest you apply these definitions and then show your work if you're still stuck.
