Thread: Sketch Graphs

Hi, could someone please explain how i would sketch the graph of y=9-x^2.

i guess your doing GCSE or As level maths

first you must know what the graph of y=x^2 looks likes before you can even start.

you must know that -x^2 is a reflection of x^2 in the __ axis

and then you should also know that +9 is a shift of _ units along the P_s_t_v_ _ axis.
