    Graphs

    Could someone please show me what the graph y=x+1/x looks like. The lowest point on a branch is (1,2) and the highest point is (-1,-2).
    Could you also explain how to draw it, i find graphs a little difficult.

    Also once i have the graph how can i work out equations such as,
    x+1/x+4. Thank you for help

    how do you find the horizontal, vertical and oblique asymptotes?
