Easy - Restating Exponential Equations
Restate each in exponential form:

1) $log_aa^3$

My work:

$a = a^3$

--

2) $log_bb^ \frac {3}{2}$

My work:

$b = b^ \frac {3}{2}$

--

3) $log_kk^{\sqrt3}$

My work:

$k = k^{\sqrt3}$

--

4) $log_22^{x}$

My work:

$2 = 2^{x}$

Can someone check my work, and if it's wrong can you please tell me how to correct it?

This is just the application of the property $\log_aa=1$ & $\log a^b=b\cdot\log a.$

that was Krizalid's way of telling you you are wrong...on all of them. use his rules and try again

another rule that may come in handy, but that can be derived from the rules Krizalid gave is: $\log_aa^x = x$

you seem to be confused as to how to interpret logarithms. see post #4 here

Can you give me examples to demonstrate the rules?

I don't know how to simplify non numeric values with numeric exponents and vice versa...or do I just leave it the way it is?

ex.

$log_aa^3$

$a^{3} = a^{3} ???$

$\log_aa^3 = 3 \log_a a = 3(1) = 3$ .........by the rules Krizalid gave you
