Would someone kindly tell or show me how to determine a graph from these functions?

1) y= (1/2)x
2) f(x)= log x
3) f(x)= log3x

this is just a straight line. it passes through the origin, find one other point it passes through, say (x,y) = (1,?) and then draw a straight line through the two points

2) f(x)= log x
ALL graphs of the form $y = \log_a x$ look like the graph below. (it is asymptotic to the y-axis)

3) f(x)= log3x
is this $f(x) = \log_3 x$ or $f(x) = \log (3x)$?

3. For number 3 its: f(x)= log3 x (the first one you posted)

well, it will look exactly like the graph from part 2, with exactly the same intercept. the only possible problem is, if you have to draw both on the same pair of axis, you'd have to know which to draw more steeply
