Would someone kindly tell or show me how to determine a graph from these functions?
1) y= (1/2)x
2) f(x)= log x
3) f(x)= log3x
Much obliged.
this is just a straight line. it passes through the origin, find one other point it passes through, say (x,y) = (1,?) and then draw a straight line through the two points
ALL graphs of the form $\displaystyle y = \log_a x$ look like the graph below. (it is asymptotic to the y-axis)2) f(x)= log x
is this $\displaystyle f(x) = \log_3 x$ or $\displaystyle f(x) = \log (3x)$?3) f(x)= log3x
