Math Help - Intersecting exponential functions

    Intersecting exponential functions

    A classmate claims that 2 exponential functions, f(x)=ab^x and g(x)=cd^x , will never intersesct if a>c and b>d.
    Do you agree?

    I have no idea how to do this w/out #'s. Can someone explain the process? thanks!!

    no.. consider the graph where a=b=2 and c=d=.5..

    the point is, if b>d>1, then they might not intersect, else, they will..
