    Function Help

    f(x) = \frac{x + 3}{2}

    Given that f(-9) + f(t) = A + Bt, find the values of A and B.

    Please help me in solving this problem. It's a nightmare.

    For reference the answers are,
    A is -\frac{3}{2}
    B is \frac{1}{2}

    Re: Function Help

    f(-9) = (-9+3)/2= -6/2 = -3
    f(t) = (t+3)/2
    f(-9)+f(t) = -3 +(t+3)/2 = -3+(3/2) +t/2 = (-3/2) +(1/2)t =A +Bt
