I'm not sure how to do this...

Determine the domain and the range of each function.

a) Y = X3+3X2-9X-10

was wondering... if it was possible to do it just looking at it or if I had to make a table of numbers

Once this is rendered into a more conventional form the answer is, if you
know enough, the domain and range of this function can be found by
inspection (just looking). Though you will still need to explain how you
know that the range and domain are correct.

In plain ASCII we would normally write this as:

y=x^3+3x^2-9x-10,

or we can used TeX:
