Quick algebra question
I have an interval for a certain function.

-1<4x^2<1

How do I solve for x with the negative on the left?

Thanks

That tells you that $|x|<\sqrt{\frac{1}{4}}$

Re: Quick algebra question
Since $4x^2$ cannot be negative, " $-1< 4x^2<1$" is the same as " $0\le 4x^2< 1$".
