    need help graphing functions

    Here's the problem.

Graph the function by starting with y=x^2 (Hint if nessasary write in f(x)=a(x-h)^2+k

    f(x)= 2x^2 -3

I'm guessing you need to complete the square, but with out an X after 3 how would you complete it?

    Thanks

it is already in the required form. you can think of this as f(x) = 2(x - 0)^2 - 3 if that makes you more comfortable
