    Please help with this question!

    Given ln 5 1.6


    use the log laws to approximate ln 25

    any help would be great!

    \displaystyle \ln{(25)} = \ln{\left( 5^2 \right)} = 2\ln{(5)}

    ok so ive got 2 ln 5 = 3.22?
    do you think that would be the final answer or did i miss a step.

    and the full working should show=

    =ln (25)
    =ln(5^2)
    =2 ln 5
    =3.22

    That is correct (although of course your final step should have an approximate sign, not an equals sign).
