Logarithm Solve For x
log(x+1) - log(x-1) = -2

Not sure if I am supposed to add 2 to the other side. If I do, what is there to do next?

Re: Logarithm Solve For x
$\log (a + b) - \log (c + d) = \log \frac{a+b}{c+d}$

Re: Logarithm Solve For x
log(x+1) - log(x-1) = log [ (x+1)/(x-1)]= -2 that gives (x+1)/(x-1) = e^-2 Now you can proceed to solution
