    Hello, marikas!

    It's a simple "FOIL" multiplication.
    Exactly where is your difficulty?

    (1 + e^x)(2 - e^{-x})
    Multiply: . (1)(2) - (1)(e^{-x}) + (e^x)(2) - (e^x)(e^{-x})

    And we have: . 2 - e^{-x} + 2e^x - 1 \;=\;\boxed{1 - e^{-x} + 2e^x}
