Frankly I am a bit put out with your posting images and showing no effort what so ever. The last time, I spent time to help you work out the limits, only to be told "forget it, I have already done the problem".

So in the future, you learn to use LaTex to post your questions, no images. Or else don't expect a reply, especially if you do not show any effort.

First off, just own up to your mistake, apologize and sincerely work on fixing it in the future. Plato -- who has never charged you or anyone on here any money -- more than deserves the courtesy, don't you think? Don't make excuses. Owning up to mistakes is a sign of one's character and personal strength.

Find a value for $x$ such that $f(x)<1000$ and call this value $a$. Find another value for $x$ such that $f(x)>1000$ and call this value $b$.

For example, let $a=0$ and $b=12\pi$.

$f(0) = 0 <1000$ and $f\left(12\pi\right) \approx 1421.22 > 1000$.

$f$ is real-valued and continuous on $[0,12\pi]$, right?

Now what does the Intermediate Value Theorem say?

Re: Equation
Do you understand that this problem does NOT ask you to solve 1000=x^2+10sinx?

Re: Equation
Yes i did and solved it:) i Will just prove thqt any number on thqt intervall Will give me the solve. I Will not answer like x=3 but i Will prove thqt there is an answer in the intervall. Thats what i did understand
