Math Help - ((1+x)^(1/x)-e)/x for x->0

    Question ((1+x)^(1/x)-e)/x for x->0

    I need to prove the following:




    Or, alternatively:



    The two are equivalent (note that "log" is natural logarithm..) ..

    Any help, please?

    Have you tried using L'Hopitals rule?

    EDIT: sorry I posted something stupid and I can't find the delete button ..

    Yeah, it worked with L'Hopitals .. after I realized I was doing it wrong..
