No matter i did it, can't express both side as a power with base 2
Here is the equation: cubic root(2562) * 16x=64x-3

I need to express both sides as a power with base 2, but no matter how i solve it, it never can make base 2.

HELP!!

Hey JarvisStu001.

Hint: Recall that 16 = 2^4 and 64 = 2^6 with the fact (a^xy) = (a^x)^y.

You need to awake up to basic powers.

\$\displaystyle 256=2^8\$ thus \$\displaystyle 256^2=2^{16}\$.

\$\displaystyle 16^x=2^{4x}~\&~64^{x-3}=2^{6x-18}\$.
