    x^2+y^2-2y=0 ??

    please can i know what is this equation x^2+y^2-2y=0
    its not a circle nor a parabola

    x^2+y^2-2y+1 = 1

    x^2 + (y-1)^2 = 1

    yes, it's a circle centered at (0,1)
