Thread: need help with functions please

first of all i'd like to apologise as its my first 2nd post and maybe wrong section..

here is the problem i've been having, basically ive been following this tutorial in order to learn functions, it was going fine until this..


Could someone explain me how is he getting those output answers... i cant really get it..

Read Wikipedia about Geometric series.

The function is an infinite GP
Sum of GP is given by a/(1-r) where a is the first term and r the common ratio. Now I am sure you would have got it.
