    Estimate the zeros

    Hi!
    Estimate the zeros of f(x)=x^4-3x^2-x+2
    I know the answer is x=0.718 and x=1.702 I just don't know how to get that. Help!!

    What course are you taking? I ask because there are some wonderful techniques using differential calculus to approximate the roots of a function.

    I'm in pre-calculus. I talked to my professor and he said plug it into a calculator.
