    Solve the inequality

    I have no idea where to begin on this,

    I found the points that the line goes through but I have no idea where to go from there.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    You can count the marks on the graph.

    f(x)<0 if x<-3\text{ or }1<x<5.

    So basically you're just taking the points straight off the graph and plugging them into this equation?
