
Urgen! Iterative formula
Use the iterative formula x{n+1}=(1x{n})/(cosx{n}) (the x{n+1} and x{n} is the n+1 th and the n th term of the sequence)
a) with x1=0.5 find the limit of the sequence x1, x2,... correct to 2 decimal places
b) Find the equation to which the limiting value of the sequence is a solution
c) With x1=0 find x2, x3, x4, x5, x6. Explain the results
I got a, but I'm stuck at b and c.
Please reply and possibly solve this for me as soon as possible.
