How do I find the vertical asymptote for log and exp functions? For example, y=log_{2}x and y=3^{x}
im acutally confused, is it possible to have vertical asymptotes for exponential functions??
Log's are not exponential. They are actually the inverse.
Exponential functions do not have vertical asymptotes. The have horizontal asymptotes. Log functions do have vertical asymptotes. I suggest graphing, and looking for an undefined portion.
