I am trying to understand the following problem:

Find the parametric vector equation of the line through and perpendicular to the plane

The equation of the line is just the point + a vector in that direction. The answer shows:



But how do you know it's perpendicular?

I figured it out!

From the equation of the plane, the coefficients yield the components of the normal vector

So I think it should be t(1,0,-2) not t(1,0,2)
