Explain how the graphs of y=f(x) and y=f(x+4) are related

- Jun 5th 2012, 09:17 PMCbarker1Re: Transformations
Both functions are related but one function is shifting to left by four.

SO for example,

f(x)=x^2

the parabola is at the origin (0,0).

f(x+4)=(x+4)^2

The vertex of the parabola is at (-4,0). - Jun 6th 2012, 04:39 AMbiffboyRe: Transformations
