Kite Height Problem
A kite is attached to 300 feet of string, which makes a 42 degree angle with the level ground. The kite pilot is holding the string 4 feet above the ground.
Suppose that power lines are located 250 feet in front of the kite flyer. Is any portion of the kite or string over the power lines?
So 42 is the degree
Height 1 is 300 ft
Height 2 is 4 feet
Though, I'm confuse how to start off with this information, can anyone help? http://mathhelpforum.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

Re: Kite Height Problem
So couldn't you form a right triangle with this information and then use trig to solve for one side?
