Consider the function
f(x,y)= (2y^3x^2) / (10)

Which graph below corresponds to the following traces:

1. The trace for x=0.3
2. The trace for x=1
3. The trace for x=1.8

The simplest thing to do is to try each one.

If x= - 0.3, $f(-0.3, y)= (2y^3- .09)/10$

If x= 1, $f(1, y)= (2y^3-- 1)/1O$

If x= -1.8, $f(-1.8, y)= (2y^3- 3.24)/10$

Now, you might try evaluating at y= 0, y= 1 to see which corresponds to which graph.
