I need to construct family of linear equations that are similar to this one:



It was suggested that it should be done by drawing conclusion from relation between coefficients.

Is this part of an IB Portfolio task?

Nope - to be honest, I don't know what is IB portfolio. It is a section from project in linear algebra class.

I am having trouble with finding some meaningful relation between coefficients.
