How would I graph f(x)=8x-absolute value(3x)+2?

I know I could take points, but is there another approach so I could know what it should look like?

I assume this is 8x - |3x| + 2. Consider two cases: x < 0 and x >= 0. You'll get a linear function for each case. E.g., when x < 0, |3x| = -3x, so 8x - |3x| + 2 = 11x + 2.
