Grade 11 Exponential Functions ( how to make bases even) ??
I'm stuck on such a teensy little thing which is make bases the same then proceding to solve for the exponents. Here is the equation i have to solve

(2x^2) ^ 3-2m x (1/ X) ^ 2m

how do i balance (2x^2) and (1/x) ?

First, please never use 'x' for multiplication in the same equation as 'X' for a variable. Very confusing. Look very carefully at what you have written. You became confused in the middle.

Second, 1/X = X^(-1)

So how would i continue using X^(-1)?...sorry i'm really confused. What would i have to do to X^(-1) to make it equal (2x^2) if that's what you're saying?

Thank you guys so much for putting in effort to help me. but what is wanted is the 2 bases in that question to be the same so that we can solve for the exponents Eg..(2x^2) = (1/X) how can i make them the same should i change (2x^2) to equal (1/X) or vice versa

There is no equation here. Equations have an 'equals' sign.

Please learn to use latex so that we do not have to waste any more time trying to work out the question. And please post the correct and entire question.
